Backyard Hotel - Kathmandu

Satisfactory breakfasts, very helpful and extremely helpful staff.

My favorite property in Kathmandu. Low budget hotel set in the lively area. Decent location with free parking nearby. The rooftop restaurant on the premises.

The location is convenient, close to the airport, Durbar Square, and other attractions, with a nice breakfast served on the rooftop.

Personal and friendly touch on each occasion. Spotless and clean rooms. Convenient location for shopping and business errands. High comfort sleeping for affordable pricing.

I had a real good time at this hotel and would stay there again. The venue was well-maintained and modern with perfect location just off Katmandu, the centre of the thamel town and many attractions including Durbar Square and Garden of Dreams. The staff were very very helpful and especially helpful and offered guidance. Booked a room with airco on a very good location;))

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, being next to the tourist bus station, shops, tour agencies, and restaurants. the breakfast served at the rooftop was enjoyable.

I have booked the Backyard Hotel for a night before the trek and after the trek. I have never found such a great hotel with Family Environment. Hotel is not like a 4-5 star but you could feel very warm once you enter the Hotel. Hotel is situated at Center of Thamel from where you can walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Royal Palace. Sujan, Director of Backyard Hotel always try to help. He was very kind and also booked some trip with him. Staffs are Great and help me even in the mid night. The most Imporant is that they do give service 24 hours. It has free wi-fi internet on public area. Sometime the connection is not good becuse of the Service Provider. Every rooms have Parquet on the Floor and LCD Cable Television. Rooms are neat and clean and i got everyday house-keeping service but you need to tell them if you want to Finally i became a family member of Backyard Hotel so its recommended. Thank you All

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, conveniently located near a bus stop, with a variety of delicious food options available.

The location is very good, right in the heart of Thamel.

The rooms are expensive for what they offer. You could find a better place to stay in Thamel with 10 or 15 dollars.

Very noisy and dirty. Sheets were dirty with bugs and hair. I was not impressed. I booked it since it had very good reviews but ended up being a dissapointment.

Great location, super close to all the cool spots and the tourist bus stop. And you can easily visit a beautiful old garden nearby with cool architecture. 🌿

Good and clean hotel.they picked me up from the airport late night and the room was as expected.wifi was working in the lobby.the manager sujan tries to help all the guest and looks after thier comfort.

AT Backyard hotel, it seems like home cum a hotel, entire staff and and management is very co-operative. Room and breakfast was above to benchmark and i m really glad with the services available at hotel.

The breakfast here is really nice, with lots of good food choices. the rooms are a good size for the price, and the bathrooms are clean and well-kept. 🍳
